Crouch End – the hidden jewel of North London
Crouch End is a haven of independent shops, cafes and bars, nestling in the N8 valley at the foothill of Highgate and Alexandra Palace. Tree-lined streets, three lovely surrounding parks and a backdrop of original Victorian architecture all contribute to its great sense of charm.
A stone's throw from the famous Clock Tower is the much-loved art deco Town Hall, with the promise of much anticipated plans for revival, and behind this its Library, boasting an art gallery and new cafe.
Through the central Broadway, and down its hidden streets lie the array of shopping delights, cafes and restaurants making this a lovely and rewarding place to stroll around day or night.
For the practical side of life Crouch End boasts fine schools, good supply of doctors and dentists, an excellent local hospital, the Whittington, and for getting around two tube stations, Finsbury Park and Highgate, two overland stations and network of buses to take you to each.
