the crouch end project
– proving community marketing works...Crouch End bag

The aim of the Crouch End Project is to encourage more people to shop locally, and to use local resources both commercial, and non commercial.

We aim to do this by not simply by telling people to, but by giving them good reasons to.

We identified early on that there was a need to raise the profile of the wide range of shops, business’s and resources in the area and add value to that.

Through connecting with all elements of the community, retailers, businesses, local organisations, charities,  schools and local council, we’ve pooled resources and created dynamic networking opportunities.

Using events, merchandise and other community based initiatives we have  raised the profile of our members and Crouch End as a whole, adding value to the individual members and the area.

In the last year we have won grants from the council which have allowed us to introduce a crouch end card, develop our website and organise more events.
